De-Reaganization

De-Reaganization refers to a period of time following the Presidency of Ronald Reagan in which insiders and big wigs of the Republican Party disavowed conservatism and returned to an era of big government.
Some blame de-Reaganization, led by President George H.W. Bush, as responsible for the defeat of the Republican party in 1992 and the rise of the modern extreme left Democrat party.
The term De-Reaganization has at time been misused by media cohorts eager to promote the Republican Establishment's cause.[1]
