Nidintu-Bêl, 522 BC, was a rebel in the days of Darius I. He claimed to be Nebuchadnezzar (reborne?) and therefore to throne of Babylon.
He was swiftly conqured by Darius I first in a battle at the Tigris River[1] and then at a city called Zâzâna, on the Euphrates as one marches toward Babylon[2]. Nidintu-Bel then fled into Babylon, after which Darius I took the city before capturing and slaying Nidintu-Bel therein[3].
