Don Cupitt

Don Cupitt (born May 1934) is an English theologian and philosopher of religion. His works include "Who was Jesus?" "The Debate about Christ" "Taking Leave With God" and "The Sea of Faith" (1984). The latter was written to accompancy a BBC series of the same name, in which how views of religion had been changed in the light of thinkers such as Blaise Pascal, Carl Jung, Soren Kierkegaard, Albert Schweitzer and Ludwig Wittgenstein were examined. Cupitt is known for his nonrealist philosophy of religion.
