The Economist is a weekly British news magazine which generally promotes free markets, personal liberty and human rights.
Although the columnists usually write (anonymously) from a centrist stance, the readership is generally very left-wing. The Economist endorsed the moderate-left Liberal Democrats in the UK General Election of 2017 and often writes against Donald Trump and in favor of evolutionism. The magazine takes open borders positions.[1]
