Clerk

The media has omitted Kim Davis' party affiliation...Democrat. --Jpatt (talk) 23:15, 2 September 2015 (EDT)

Excellent point. Isn't that very interesting!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 23:25, 2 September 2015 (EDT)
No they haven't. See: [www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/09/02/meet-kim-davis-the-ky-clerk-who-defying-the-supreme-court-refuses-to-issue-gay-marriage-licenses/ here], for but one example. SaulJ (talk) 00:32, 3 September 2015 (EDT)
Only a small percentage of the stories clearly explain that the clerk is a Democrat. I looked at several different articles before reading that.--Andy Schlafly (talk) 00:36, 3 September 2015 (EDT)
I'm having a harder time finding articles that don't mention the fact:
  • [1]
  • [2]
  • [3]
  • [4]
  • [5]
  • [6]
  • [7]
  • [8]. Certainly, "omitted" is flat-out wrong, given that these were all on the front page of a search. SaulJ (talk) 01:12, 3 September 2015 (EDT)

Worrisome signs

I think Bevin has been a great governor overall and a strong conservative, but I've noticed some worrisome developments -- first, he attended the Koch brothers' meeting: [9] Second, his lawyers (not himself, but the people he appointed) said that Kim Davis pay the legal fees of the homosexual "couples" who sued her: [10] --1990'sguy (talk) 17:34, 30 January 2019 (EST)

Bills to watch

In just the past several days, the Kentucky legislature has been moving on some important pieces of legislation: 1,2,3,4 Bevin would presumably sign all these bills into law, but hopefully, they will all go to his desk in the first place. --1990'sguy (talk) 13:46, 16 February 2019 (EST)
