A Centrist is an individual who holds political beliefs intermediate between Liberalism and Conservatism. As such, they may hold specific beliefs typical of both ideologies, depending upon their personal disposition.

Centrists favor selective governmental intervention and temporary affiliations with others. They take a strong stance on few issues, preferring the middle position in most matters. Centrists emphasize practical solutions to current public issues.

Centrists, due to their already 'half way there' position to Conservatism, are considerably easier to help embrace Conservative values. Strategies may include the use of online resources and exposure to Christian wisdom and teachings.

Christian democracy is a centrist political ideology.
