Wizards of the Coast is a subsidiary of Hasbro that is a creator of trading card games, tabletop roleplaying games, and game-based entertainment products. It also publishes fantasy novels. The most famous Wizards of the Coast games are Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: The Gathering. Through its imprint Avalon Hill, it produces and manufactures several great games including Axis and Allies and Betrayal on House on the Hill. Although it is a very successful company with several household names in its clutches, it hasn't been smooth sailing for WOTC. Its failures include Dune, Star Wars, Dream Blade, and Heroscape. [1]
