Gymnasium

In Germany a Gymnasium is a type of High School (academic secondary school) which allows students to gain an entry level for University [1]. The German school system streams students into different schools relative to their final vocational or academic needs. The word Gymnasium is Greek in origin and relates to an early place of learning.
