Operation Sea Lion

Operation Sea Lion was Germany's plan to attack Great Britain in World War II, beginning in the summer of 1940 with the bombing of Britain.
The German failure to win air superiority over the English Channel in the Battle of Britain meant that the operation was first postponed, and finally cancelled.
