Bill de Blasio (born Warren Wilhelm, Jr.; May 8, 1961) is the 109th and current mayor of New York City. A communist,[1] he is known for his negativity towards police officers. In one instance in 2017, he skipped a police vigil in order to protest at the G-20 meeting in Germany.[2] He even managed to push for the parole board to release an unrepentant cop killer by the name of Herman Bell.[3]
