Idiocracy

Idiocracy is a 2006 dystopian/science fiction film directed by Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill creator Mike Judge. It depicts a future in which society has dumbed down and deteriorated to a point that a man of average intelligence in the past was considered a genius.
Some may also refer to a society as an "idiocracy," implying said society resembles the one depicted in the film.
