Omar Mohammed Bataweel (Arabic:عمر باطويل, also transliterated as Omar Batawil) was a teenager in Yemen murdered after he posted comments on social media that resulted in him being suspected of atheism. He received numerous death threats shortly before his kidnap-murder. It is very likely he was an atheist.[1][2]
