Abd al-Azrad

Abd al-Azrad (700? AD-738 AD) was an Arabic scholar, astronomer, and poet. Born in Sanaa, Yemen, al-Azrad travelled to Babylon, Egypt, and the Arabian desert. His master work, an encyclopedia called Kitab Al-Azif, has been lost.
