Paul Kruger

Stephanes Johannes Paulus Kruger was an Afrikaner political leader in the late nineteenth century. He president of the South African Republic of the Transvaal. He lead his country during its war with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 1899-1902. When it became clear his country would lose he fled to the Transvaal.
