Qin Ershi
Chinese 秦二世
Literal meaning second (emperor) of Qin

Qin Ershi Huangdi (231 - 208 BC) was the second and final emperor (r. 210 - 208 BC) of China's Qin dynasty. He was the second son of his father, Qin Shi Huang, and upon his father's death plotted with his father's chancellor to take the throne instead of his father's first son. He proved an unpopular ruler, more concerned with his own pleasures than his people (his capital Wan King was described by the hisorian Sima Qian as 'the highest (as in wealthy) yet lowest (morally) place in the land'). After just two years of rule he was driven out by the Han.
