Tony Hawk is a professional skateboarder. At the 1999 X Games, he became the first person to ever land the 900 (two and one half turns). All in all, he has several X Games gold medals (some of those coming as doubles medals, in cooperation with Andy MacDonald). He continues to do skate demos, although he has retired from competition skating.

Hawk, with the help of Activision, has released ten games under the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series and five spin-off games.
