The definition of abortion is the termination of the life of an unborn child. Abortion is completely unjustified for any reason other than to save the life of the mother.

In medical terminology an abortion includes any artificial termination of the life of an unborn child.

In a technical medical sense miscarriage is a spontaneous abortion. However Pro-abortion advocates attempt to equivocate spontaneous abortion, which is a natural occurrence, and procedural abortion, which is contrary to nature and harmful to health.
