Dangerous Minds (1995) is a fish-out-of-water teaching drama in the mold of To Sir, with Love, in reverse video, but it never reaches the emotional depths of the latter film. A white English teacher (Michelle Pfeiffer) uses bribery and deceit to buck the system and inspire Hispanic teenagers in her inner-city poetry class.
