David Landreth is a well known, much respected, old-time banjo player living in St. Louis, Missouri. He has been part of many influential bands throughout his career as a musician, including bands such as: The Alan Street Stringband, The Vigortones, The Combine, and he currently plays in the band New Bad Habits. His reputation is especially strong in the Midwest. His gracious and good nature has made him a local favorite.
He released a solo CD in the late 90s titled Chairs which includes the playing of many other very fine Midwestern musicians.
