Last of the Summer Wine is the world's longest running Sitcom, created by the BBC and first broadcast in 1972, and written by Roy Clarke (also known for writing Keeping up Appearances & Open All Hours).

It is set in the West Yorkshire town of Holmfirth, which is also the home of Longley Farm dairy produce & headquarters of the Official Monster raving loony party.
