Great contributions! Also, thanks for catching my capitalization error on Pepper spray! --David B (talk) 17:29, 13 April 2016 (EDT)

Not a problem, and thanks much for the welcome. GerryV (talk) 01:47, 14 April 2016 (EDT)

Hi

I know we are on opposite sides on social issues but I just wanted to say that your edit to The Chalkening showcased your impressive English Composition skills. Keep up the good work!--Jpatt 13:54, 10 May 2016 (EDT)

Thank you. Sadly, I was unable to edit for quite a while as my ip was server-side blocked from accessing the site until today. GerryV (talk) 01:03, 11 May 2016 (EDT)

Blocked? That's odd! Perhaps someone in your area or even on your network was banned for disallowed behavior? For it to end so soon, it must have been an autoblock, that is, a short-term block for an IP which was used to try to log in to a banned account. If that happens again, feel free to e-mail me or an admin who has listed their address and we'll see what we can do! --David B (talk) 01:48, 11 May 2016 (EDT)

It lasted almost a month, and it wasn't just a block -- my home ip (I'm the only user of this network) could not even open the web page, though my phone could open it up via its own 3G ip. GerryV (talk) 14:04, 11 May 2016 (EDT)
