Olive Branch Petition

The Olive Branch Petition was adopted July 5th, 1775 and finalized July 8th, 1775, during the Continental Congress#Second Continental Congress ,which appeals directly to King George III and expresses hope for reconciliation between the colonies and Great Britain.[1]
