This is an old revision of this page, as edited by JoeyJ (talk | contribs) at 19:15, April 5, 2014. It may differ significantly from current revision.
Ezra forms a unit with the book Nehemiah. Parts of the book are written in Hebrew and the rest in Aramaic. The biblical book describes how the Jews returned to Babylon and created a temple there. The construction of the temple was financed by Persian king Darius I.
