Truman Doctrine

The Truman Doctrine was suppose to help stop the Soviet power in the Near East, that is Greece, Turkey, and the Arab Nations. Before, English troops were the only thing in Russia's way. Now because of this doctrine this gave American support and troops to those countries. It also gave the English troops relief.
