Michael R. Licona (born July 17, 1961) is a Christian apologist and New Testament scholar who has debated many academic non-Christian scholars like Dan Barker, Richard Carrier, Shabir Ally, and Bart D. Ehrman on the topic of the historicity of the resurrection of Jesus.
Dr. Licona earned a Ph.D in New Testament studies from the University of Pretoria (South Africa).
