Abraham Lincoln was actually one of our most liberal, left-wing presidents, despite being part of the Republican Party. Many people on Conservapedia do not realize this, and think that he was a conservative. He was not. Back in the 1800s the party called the Republican Party was the liberal party, and the party called the Democratic Party was the conservative party. If Abraham Lincoln was alive today, he would not be caught dead being associated with the current "Republican Party." He would be a Democrat. Part of right-wing social qualities include racism, which Abraham Lincoln clearly was not. He was a very liberal president.
