Von Miller

Von Miller is an outside linebacker and future Hall of Famer who has had Pro-Bowl honored seasons with the Denver Broncos, and now (2021-22) with the playoff-winning Los Angeles Rams. He is a standout in his charity work, too, in running Von's Vision by doing free eye examinations for children and fitting them with eyeglasses.

Among active players he is the career leader in sacks of the quarterback, with 115.5 at the end of the 2021 regular season.

He was drafted #2 overall by the Denver Broncos in 2011, after completing his college career and earning a diploma (in poultry science, as a side business he raises chickens), and declining to graduate early despite predictions he would have been draft very high after his junior year also.

Bloody Lip incident

After almost single-handedly eliminating Tom Brady from the playoffs for at least the second time in his career in Jan. 2022, Von Miller was gracious in victory. But Brady, after receiving a slight bloody lip on a clean hit by Von Miller during the game, falsely accused Miller of a "roughing the passer" violation that the ref then properly penalized Brady for his own unsportsmanlike conduct.
