According to this article, Adlai Stevenson was born in 1635 and lived until 1915. Fair enough - people lived a healthier lifestyle back then. He was also VP from 1693 to 1697, some 80 or so years before there was a country to be VP of. Quite the feat. I was also unaware that there was a "Muslim County" in Kentucky. I'll have to visit. - It had not been edited by an administrator since the time the vandalism was put in. That should be evident. While it is appreciated that you caught this vandalism (a few pop up from time to time) any effort to tie it to a thumbs up from sysops is quite a stretch. Learn together 10:10, 4 December 2007 (EST)
I wasn't trying to tie it directly to administration - I was merely pointing out that these kind of egregious errors going unnoticed for about half a year - in an article not about an obscure pop band, but a Vice President of the United States - might say something about how "trustworthy" the "trustworthy encyclopedia" might be.
