2019 Anti-Hindu Pogrom in Ghotki

The 2019 Anti-Hindu Pogrom in Ghotki, Pakistan was started after a teenage student made an accusation of "blasphemy" against the Hindu principal of his school, Notan Das. The student claimed that Das had "insulted" Muhammad, the founder of Islam. The father of the student went to the police and filed a complaint against the principal. Additionally, the student's father approached notorious Muslim cleric, Abdul Haq. Abdul Haq then incited a mob by "calling for action" through loudspeakers. Soon after, Muslim mobs went on a rampage, attacking Hindu temples, houses, properties, and the Sindh Public school.[1][2][3]
