Liberal

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Conservinator (Talk | contribs) at 16:37, February 22, 2007. It may differ significantly from current revision.

A liberal in the early 1800s in Europe was one who favored more powerful elected assemblies. The term was common in France shortly after the French Revolution. Since the 1980s, however, it has been taken to mean anyone who hates America.
