Origination Clause

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Dvergne (Talk | contribs) at 14:09, May 4, 2013. It may differ significantly from current revision.

The origination clause is a part of the United States Constitution. Found in Article I, section 7, the clause reads as follows:

All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
