No Ping-ponging Conversations! Archive Policy
Conversations are easier to read if they stay on one page. If I leave a message on your talk page, please respond there; I'm watching it. If you start a conversation here, I'll reply here, so please watch this page. Conversations which have not had additions in 14 days may be archived. Or just deleted and recreation prohibited. My "castle", my rules. A 'conversation' is a group of messages delimited by a heading. Hopefully this will allow conversations to stay in one place long enough for people who are interested to read the whole thing, without leading to an overly long page. Make sure you sign your posts, please.

Errors

How do I point out grammatical errors or typos? For instance, in the first paragraph of the article on Homosexuality, there is a missing word. I really like the concept of Conservapedia, but I can't stand mistakes in grammar. Call me fickle, but that kind of thing really indicates an amateurish undertaking. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jimtitcomb (talk)

Mention the errors on the Homosexuality talk page. --DeanSformerly Crocoite 17:58, 30 May 2008 (EDT)

Hollywood Values

Could you check out JBrooks' deletions from this and maybe consider reversions? For a new editor, (s)he's pretty pushy. Thanks, Bugler 18:40, 4 June 2008 (EDT)

Thank you. Bugler 18:46, 4 June 2008 (EDT)

NrRaAaggH!

I was just about to block WhiteCubord! I never block anyone: there's an army of sysops who always beat me to it! It's not fair. Oh well.

BTW, do you know why TerryH blocked Nigga? He made no contributions, was it his name? --Ṣ₮ёVeN 10:28, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

That it was his name seems likely, but if he created new articles which were then deleted, they don't show up in his contribution history. Philip J. Rayment 11:19, 6 June 2008 (EDT)
Ahhh. So I learn something new everyday....--Ṣ₮ёVeN 21:06, 6 June 2008 (EDT)
I would never hesitate to block someone with that name. DanH 22:17, 6 June 2008 (EDT)
I since happened to notice that there was at least one article that he created that was subsequently deleted. Philip J. Rayment 02:17, 7 June 2008 (EDT)

Mass account creation

I am contacting you because I can see that you're active now. A very large number of accounts have been created between 1405 and 1407 today as well as quite a few between 1135 and 1137. I suggest a checkuser investigation to see if it's mass sockpuppetry. I don't know Conservapedia well enough to know the right place to raise this concern.

Regards.

Thanks for you concern. I have already blocked the associated IP address. --DeanSformerly Crocoite 14:18, 8 June 2008 (EDT)

Superb blocks!

Superb blocks today, Dean!!!--Aschlafly 14:59, 8 June 2008 (EDT)

Thank you Andy. --DeanSformerly Crocoite 15:01, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
Superb indeed, Dean. After all, there's nothing vandals hate more than a sysop blocking them in the least efficient way possible. You really are here for our liberal enjoyment, aren't you? ScubaDive 15:09, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
