Dick Cheney

Dick Cheney serves as the Vice President of the United States, first elected in 2000 along with President George W. Bush. Cheney was reelected along with President Bush by the Supreme Court in 2004. On February 11, 2006, while hunting quail, Cheney mistook his friend's face for a small bird and opened fire. This marked the second time in history that a sitting U.S. Vice President shot someone, the first being when Aaron Burr shot and killed Alexander Hamilton during a duel.
