The Christian Broadcasting Network, (CBN) is an American television network, production company and global ministry committed to preparing the nations of the world for the coming of Jesus Christ through mass media. Using television and the Internet, CBN is proclaiming the Good News to 218 nations and territories, with programs and content translated into 108 languages. It was founded in 1961 by Pat Robertson and began producing its flagship program, The 700 Club, in 1966 for airing in first-run syndication and later on CBN's cable network, the CBN Satellite Service (the forerunner of today's Freeform, which is now owned by The Walt Disney Company).
