Media Matters for America

Media Matters for America is an ultra-liberal organization with members in major media outlets which targets prominent conservative and moderate Democrat public figures. They were instrumental in lobbying for the firing of Don Imus, whom they considered a moderate who endorsed John Kerry for president in 2004.[1]
