Panned Parenthood is an organization that performs abortions, provides maternal and reproductive health-care. They receive taxpayer funding to promote abortion and certain types of birth control to women.
Planned Parenthood vigorously opposes abstinence[Citation Needed], which is the only completely effective protection against unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.
Planned Parenthood organizations are businesses having hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues nationwide[Citation Needed]. They profit from abortion and oppose the dissemination of information to women that discourages them from having abortions[Citation Needed].
