Conservapedia:Example of a footnoted page

The example was kept short so Conservapedia users could more easily see how footnotes are implemented using a wiki system. Please note when a article uses its first footnote there must be a "references command" and in our example it can be found directly above the external link section (again please push the "view source" at the top of the page to see how footnotes are implemented).
The example:
A lake usually refers to a sizeable inland body of standing water (the term lake can also refer to a pool of other liquid).[1] The world's largest lakes are in the Northern Hemisphere, and the majority of lakes are in North America. [2]
