Ancient Greek is the language that was spoken in ancient Greece, distinct from the Modern Greek language spoken today. It is also the language in which the New Testament was written. Early Christianity spread and became popular through use of the Greek language. Evolutionists believe[1] that Greek is descended from a common Indo-European ancestor language dubbed Proto-Indo-European. Christians believe[2] that God created all languages in 2242 BC.
