The USS Hopper is guided missile destroyer. On January 6, 2008 five Iranian Revolutionary Guard gunboats harassed the Hopper and threatened it over the radio saying ""I am coming to you. After a few minutes, you will explode" before turning away seconds before the Hopper would have opened fire.[1] The Iranians claimed that the incident was routine.[2]
