Game of Thrones is a fantasy television series based on the novel 'A Song of Ice and Fire' by George R. R. Martin, the first of a series of fantasy novels.
The stories are set in the fictional world of 'Westeros' and includes such places as 'King's Landing', 'Winterfell' and 'The Wall. The series produced by HBO uses mostly British actors and capitalises on the use of difference between the southern and northern accents spoken in the U.K.
