A pentagon is a polygon with five sides.
In some occult circles a pentagon is considered the best shape in which to entrap a demon.
It is also the name of a large, five-sided building near Washington, D.C. in Northern Virginia.
On 11 September 2001 al-Qaeda crashed a passenger aircraft into the Pentagon, in an apparent attempt to destroy the building, as part of their 9/11 attacks.
