William Donohue (born July 18, 1947 in Manhattan, New York) is an American conservative Catholic activist.
He is an Irish Catholic. He campaigns for what are seen as the Civil Rights of Roman Catholics in particular and Christians in general.
He is the president (as of 2008) of the Catholic League, a Catholic group comcerned with the civil rights of its members. He has been a teacher, college professor and author. He served four years in the United States Air Force (USAF). He was awarded a PhD in sociology in 1980 from New York University.
