L. Ron Hubbard (1911 -1986) was the founder of the Church of Scientology and a fiction and non-fiction author. Born Lafayette Ronald Hubbard on 13 March 1911 in Tilden, Nebraska to Ledora May Waterbury and Harry Ross Hubbard (born Henry August Wilson), he would spend his early childhood in Kalispell, Montana.[1]
