Adolf Hitler was a German dictator, born 1889 in Austria (which he later unified with Germany), in the 1930s and 1940s.
Hitler was a great orator who made the people of Germany believe that he could lead them out of their economic problems. He also inspired a strong sense of nationalism and racism in the German people. He was the dictator of Germany, and brought an end to the Weimar Republic, by exploiting a suspicious fire in the Reichstag building. He led Germany into World War II.
