Human cloning is the copying of a human using the DNA in the cells of the donor. People have tried to clone embryos, but the cloned child has not survived past birth. There are some moral and social issues with this that have yet to be addressed. For example, would a clone be the child of its donor, or its sibling (genetically, a clone is simply an artifical identical twin)? If these questions cannot be properly answered, there could be severe repercussions for inheritance laws. It's also possible that someone would clone Carrot Top, and nobody wants that.
