The Neolithic Age was the second part of the Stone age. The Paleolithic Age was the first. Farming became popular during the Neolithic Age as opposed to the hunting and gathering which were favored in the Paleolithic age.

The first two Neolithic stages apparently took place around 8500BC to 7000BC before the universe was created. Unearthed neolithic villages such as Skara Brae in Scotland don't actually exist, presumably only liberals have claimed to witness it.
