Zhenli Ye Gon (b. 1963, Shanghai) is a business man of Chinese origin, apparently accused by Mexican government of trafficking pseudoephedrine into Mexico from Asia.
Mr. Ye Gon claimed in an interview that he kept the money found in his house in Mexico, which is apparently the largest illegal fortune ever found in the world (+205 million American dollars), after having been blackmailed by "Mexico's government party". U.S. and Mexican authorities are investigating the existence of at least $200 million more belonging to Zhenli Ye Gon, according to information from national security officials. [1]
