Hi! :)

−

−
Thanks for adding a new article, in this case Canadian Security Intelligence Service. Please, though, categorize your articles when you create them; while there are those of us who will go through and clean-up the uncategorized articles, you know your subject better than we do.

−

−
For a list of categories, go here: Special:Categories. To add a category to your article, type two open brackets, then "category:" followed by the category you want. Just add two closed brackets and you're done! You can add as many categories as you feel are appropriate. Thanks! Aziraphale 02:17, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

:: In reply to your second point, you're wrong.  People do watch the Recent Changes, and you wouldn't go to the trouble of making sarcastic comments unless you thought others would see them.  I see them, for example, and they are tiresome to read.  OK?  Godspeed.--Aschlafly 00:37, 17 August 2007 (EDT)

::: I... didn't claim they didn't watch the Recent Changes. I do that myself. It's really not much trouble, for me. It's not like I'm sitting here for minutes thinking of some sarcastic remark to make for the sole purpose of annoying you. Kazumaru 00:42, 17 August 2007 (EDT)

Revision as of 04:42, August 17, 2007

I un-vandalized you. But its possible that it counts as another instance of vandalism, making your total now 3. Bohdan 00:44, 2 August 2007 (EDT)
Foiled again! :( Kazumaru 00:46, 2 August 2007 (EDT)
Your account is on the verge of being blocked for violating the spirit of the 90/10 talk rule. Improve the encyclopedia here while your account is still active. Thanks and Godspeed.--Aschlafly 00:14, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
Doesn't sound threatening, but thanks for the notice. I shall stop debating issues on talk pages, then. Kazumaru 00:16, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
Pity, the debating is the fun! --Bilby 18:54, 16 August 2007 (EDT)

slowing down...

Did you mean to make a deceleration of intent, or is it supposed to be declaration? I kinda like it the way it is. It's punny... but the pun doesn't make any sense. :) Jazzman831 23:52, 13 August 2007 (EDT)

Regarding this... have you finished the 7th book? I don't want to ruin it if you haven't, but I'm reverting your edit. --Ħøĵímαζĥŏήğθαλκ 02:29, 14 August 2007 (EDT)

barnstable

Thanks for helping me out. I was real ambitious at first, but after going through the first stolen paragraphs, I just lost all interest. --TimmyJdb 00:13, 17 August 2007 (EDT)

No problem. I did that on one of the other ship articles, too. Kazumaru 00:31, 17 August 2007 (EDT)

Feedback

Kazumaru, I appreciate your effort, but two suggestions:

 • please don't add a dozen links that don't go anywhere, as you just did to the ship entry
 • please don't make so many sarcastic comments for your edits

This is a serious project. This is not an anti-intellectual exercise, this is not Wikipedia, and this is not a video arcade. We're here to learn and to teach. Our students get 5's on AP exams, and our adults sharpen their minds and their professional work. We welcome others who share those goals. Thanks and Godspeed.--Aschlafly 00:16, 17 August 2007 (EDT)

I'm also guilty of putting in links that don't go anywhere, but I was operating under the assumption that other users will see the red links, and create the associated article. Am I wrong in this type of thought? --TimmyJdb 00:28, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
They'll see the red links, and it'll appear on the most-wanted page. I don't see the problem with that...
And Aschlafly, I don't think that anyone is going to be looking at my edit summaries for encyclopedic information... Nor do I think much of anybody is going to be looking at the summaries, unless they're A: Searching through my contributions for something to use as fodder for insulting me, B: reading through the histories, or C: Watching the Recent Changes list constantly. Kazumaru 00:34, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
In reply to the first point above, a few extra red links is OK, particularly if the term is so important that it will be created soon. A dozen extra red links is not desired. OK? Godspeed.--Aschlafly 00:37, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
I'm confused - what if they're a dozen important red links? --TimmyJdb 00:40, 17 August 2007 (EDT)
