The style of a liberal often includes these characteristics:
- pretend to know more than one really knows; Isaac Newton admitted that he knew almost nothing, yet a liberal rarely admits that and often pretends to know more than he does
- resist quantifying things, such as liberal bias or openmindedness
- a preference or obsession for obscenity and profanity
- insistence on having the last word in a discussion or debate
- over-reliance on mockery
- a hostility to faith
- an insistence to censor certain accounts, such as The Flood, even though accepted by a majority of Americans
- a feeling that the education of children is for liberals to control
- a strong belief that conservatives will fail, and shock when they succeed
- a reluctance to admit that anything is morally wrong
- a confidence in bullying conservatives who disagree
