The Obama Presidential Center is a gargantuan eyesore designed, over local opposition, to destroy Chicago's historic Jackson Park. A lawsuit this phony tribute to Barack Obama - which will include any of his presidential papers -- was not successful before the Supreme Court in August 2020, as it declined to fully review the merits.[1] [2]

Opponents offered a far superior design which could have been built a mere 2 miles away in underused Washington Park, which is connected to Jackson Park by the Emerald Necklace.[3] [4]

Both parks were designed by America’s preeminent landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted.
